Columbia Icefield Tour Group Check In

For group check-in on the Columbia Icefield Adventure, head to the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre, situated along the Icefields Parkway (Highway 93 N) between Jasper and Lake Louise. Upon arrival, proceed to the main floor of the Discovery Centre, accessible via a large staircase from the parking lot or an alternative pathway to the left of the stairs. This is where you'll check in for both the Columbia Icefield Adventure and the Columbia Icefield Skywalk experiences.

For the Ice Odyssey tour, guests should park in the designated Ice Odyssey parking spaces in the Columbia Icefield Discovery Centre's upper Banff-side lot. Check-in for this tour is located just before the bridge found in the upper Banff-side lot at an identified meeting area.

It's recommended to arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time to allow for parking and check-in procedures. Keep in mind that cellphone service is limited in this area, so plan accordingly.

For those participating in guided glacier hikes with IceWalks, the meeting location is in the west parking lot of the Columbia Icefield Discovery Centre. Look for the trailer and white vans with the IceWalks logo upon arrival. After check-in, you'll be shuttled a short distance to the glacier trailhead.
